To ensure the safety of your pets...

Please make certain your pet's collar fits tight enough that their head cannot come out of the collar if they try to back out of it. You should be able to fit two fingers snugly between the collar and your pets neck. If your pet's head is the same diameter as their neck or smaller, we recommend the use of a martingale or other self-tightening collar.

This will help prevent your pet from escaping and getting away from you or us during drop-offs and pick-ups.

Thank you!

We strive to make every grooming experience a positive one. We monitor the pets at all times during the grooming process and provide them with comfortable resting areas whenever they require a break or are waiting to be picked up. We also have quiet rooms for pets who are easily overstimulated.

Our first priority is always Pet Safety. Everyone who works at Wicked Wagz is trained in basic animal CPR and is trained to recognize the signs of excessive stress in animals. If you pet is exhibiting these signs at any point during the grooming process, the groom will be discontinued. Having pets of our own, we are NOT willing to risk your pets health and safety simply to make a profit. Wicked Wagz also maintains a working relationship with a veterinarian. If your pet ever is in need of veterinary services, help is very close by.

Thank you for helping us keep all our pets safe by
following these policies and procedures!

 Attendance Policy

Because we are a low-volume shop, every appointment scheduled affects us personally!

While we understand that it's not always possible, we ask that if you must reschedule/ cancel your appointment please do so at least 24 hours in advance so that we may accommodate other pets.

If you do not provide 24 hours notice, you MAY be required to pay a non-refundable deposit in order to schedule your next groom that will be applied to that groom. No-Call/No-Shows are at an increased likelihood for a required deposit.

Pet Illness

All pets coming to the property must be free from cough, runny eyes, nasal discharge, vomiting and diarrhea for 7 days prior to their appointment unless these symptoms are caused by a chronic condition such as allergies,  heart failure or epilepsy. Certain rules and restrictions apply.  Please call to discuss your pets specific situation.

If your pet has been diagnosed with Bordetella (Kennel Cough) your pet must be free of cough for 30 days before coming to the property.

If your pet has dermal sutures (stitches in the skin) they must be removed at least 24 hours prior to your appointment to reduce the risk of infection/abscess at the suture site.

NOTICE:

If your pet is in heat, you must notify us and reschedule your appointment as it causes additional stress to your pet as well as other pets in our care. If we notice a pet in our care is in heat, there will be an additional fee and we may discontinue services and require an immediate pickup.
